Door is surrounded by a four side rubber sealing gasket that ensures hermetic sealing, which reduces the contamination risk between the rooms and controls the pressure in the room.
In hospitals there are rooms like radio therapy rooms and X-ray rooms which emit radiation ray, in order to protect both hospital employees and patients from unnecessary harmful ray radiation proof sliding or swing doors are designed with lead shielding from Nine Sunplus Systems.
Hermetically sliding door
This door is specially designed for operation theatres and clean rooms. Opening the door manually is extremely easy due to the lever principle on the inner and outer door handles. Apart from the standard sizes, the customization is also available as per the requirements. The Door Panel is 50mm thick; it is flush framed in extruded aluminum alloy profiles, shaped with wide radius curves. The door leaf comes with vision window flushed with surfaces of the door leaf. The door slides “down and in” simultaneously going down utilizing the weight of the door to give a perfect hermetic seal when closed.
The lead-shield sliding door has been specially developed for operation theatres with X-ray equipments, Cath Labs as well as rooms with radiation shielding requirements. It has 2 mm thickness of lead lining.

It is easy to install for both new construction and retrofit applications.
No compromise on safety
To permit safe passage between closing door and frame, the door immediately reverse if an obstruction is detected, people or objects in the doorway can be detected.
Self-monitoring
The operator microprocessor has an integrated self-monitoring device, which detects any interference or faulty signals in door operation and takes necessary measures to ensure a safe operation.
Hygienic Performance
All doors are bacteria resistant; their flush construction does not permit growth of germs and bacteria. This ensures maximum hygienic performance.
Design
The door canopy is designed to prevent collection of dust and is easy to clean. The motor, control unit and transmission are all assembled on the door sliding track. The movement is transmitted to the door leaf by means of a tooth belt. A linear actuator is used to lift the door leaf from closed position onto the sliding track.
The door leaf consists of a XPS core faced with painted steel or stainless steel to both sides. The door is hung on roller brackets, which together with the sliding track give exceptionally smooth and silent operation. The sealing against the wall is made by a rubber seal. A flat rubber gasket is fitted to the underside of the door to seal against the floor. This will give full hermetic seal. The doors can be delivered with lead for radiation protection. Mechanical lock can be available upon requests. The door can also be manually opened by means of handles on both sides of the door in case of emergency without power.
Hermetic sealing Mechanism
The block frame ensures a perfect fit with the leaf and guarantees hermetic sealing on any type of wall, allowing the gap to be lined with the same finish as the leaf.
Hermetic sliding door
In order to guarantee correct hermetic sealing, the door drop down 6.5mm towards the floor and fits 5.5mm towards the frame so as seal the perimeter of the gap.
Hermetic swing door
The leaf is sealed at the side and top to guarantee a perfect hermetic seal. It is also equipped with a mechanism that slides along the floor to ensure the door is sealed at the bottom too.
Sliding doors available in single leaf and bi-parting versions, swing doors available in single-leaf and double –leaf versions.

Hygiene
Hygiene is a top priority. We use smooth, rounded surfaces so that dirt cannot get caught in joints and corners. Anti-microbial surface materials are used in door handles, for example. Doors with automatic or hands-free opening improve hygiene and reduce the need for cleaning.
Door opening directions:
Sliding doors require much less valuable space than hinged doors and when operated produce far less air disturbance as they slice through the air. When closed the unique track system allows the door to move down/in under its own weight and in conjunction with a continuous neoprene gasket it seals perfectly against the floor and frame. The efficiency of the seal has been officially tested and results show it to be over 99%effective thus helping to reduce air handling costs, the incidence of wound infections and cross contamination. Furthermore, sound insulation is significantly increased giving quieter conditions for the medical teams and increasing patient comfort.
